We're in a world where rock music is fading away, not necessarily dying because to quote the late Ronnie James Dio "Metal Will Never Die" and to quote Dee Snider Of Twisted Sister "YOU CAN'T STOP ROCK AND ROLL". However that being said we are moving into a world where the music that is shoved down our throats is not that of artists playing music that is meaningful, music that required talent, music that makes us think, inspires us and liberates us from our otherwise boring lives. Instead we are given garbage from talentless hacks that give us the same inoffensive song again and again to the point where people can't think for themselves.
So what do most rockers say about this? Simple: It's fans like you who keep us going. I would like to think that if we are the driving force of rock music than we should do our part. That is why I'm here, to commemorate the rock, blues, metal and jazz legends of the past, present and future.
I am here to open the eyes of many individuals and expose them to music they never thought they would like. From 12 Am to 2 am on sundays (saturday to sunday) on wvau.org I spend 2 hours every week playing music I believe needs to be appreciated. One minute you will hear Led Zeppelin, other times you will hear Megadeth, you will always hear Motorhead because Motorhead are my Favorite band and Lemmy is god as they say.
In this blog I will start writing about concerts I've been to, Albums I enjoy and be posting upcoming concerts I will be going to wherever I may be. If you need a rock encyclopedia I'm your man. I also enjoy other music though so don't be shy to approach me with other styles of music.
be on the look out for the new reviews!, I will post my back log of concert reviews soon but my first concert review on this site will be the B-52s!
